  Hi there, I am Blix, the mighty mouse of IndiZone!

  I thought they would never let me out of this ...!

Let me tell you what you have to do to get me running on
your screen:

You need to have a Silicon Graphics workstation running the
IRIX 4.0.5 (or later) operating system. It needs to have some
free diskspace (10 Mbytes) to store the program and the data 
describing myself and my enemies.

For compiling the stuff you might need some additional disk space,
but after compiling that can be cleaned up.

OK, I assume that you managed to unpack the data, otherwise you could
not read this file (could you?). Now all you have to do is cd to the
directory where the file called 'Makefile' resides and type 'make'
Now, while I will be build, go have a drink or something. 
After that you can test the game by calling my name: blix.

If you want to move everything in the right places you may become
'root' (type su, and the password) then, in the directory you compiled
the stuff type 'make install'. 
All stuff will be moved into the right places, and cleaned up for you.
(the places can be changed in my Makefile)

It is wise to have a fast graphics engine, because I'm in three-dee,
and my (small spherical) world also! If you think that I walk too slow
you can either reduce the level of detail in the pop-up menu, or accept 
that I am tired of getting all the way to your machine. I'm already 
frustrated enough by the fact that this spherical maze doesn't have 
any exits.

To control the game you press the right button of my electronic counter-
part to plop up a menu. To move, rotate and zoom you use the left and middle
button. Feel free to experiment somewhat to get the feeling of the moving 
sphere. The space bar makes me smile, because I *love* using the bombs.
For exact controls look in my man page (man blix) or use the on-line help
(for which you must have at least showcase 3.0 with the Honesty fun font
installed).

PS 
I can read compressed data files too, so go ahead and use compress for
the data in the obj directory. Of course this will make me read the files
a lot slower, but it saves a few megabytes.

They seem to have include the source for the server program for
completness, but I don't need that part to run through the maze.
